a lot of fun
The various weapons made the game a lot of fun. Simple graphics and the game could've used more Fresh Prince references for my taste (Parents just don't understand :( ), but it was still pretty addictive.

Surprisingly fun
I think it could be a lot more challenging from the start, though. I didn't play long enough to see if the difficulty increased, but I was waiting a lot for new enemies to show up. I think they could come out faster and in larger numbers from the start.
Pretty and cute
Not much of a challenge, but the great-looking graphics and holiday spirit of it all still makes it really nice.
hopelessly addictive.
damn, this is fun.
great
I don't know if the concept of free movement in Snake had been tried before, but this is definitely really addictive.
Now if only someone'll make a 3D version of Snake...
Great job on all the options to this game.
Feels sloppy.
I died some twenty times just trying it out, because the gameplay's so awkward. If you just press right on the first screen, you won't actually hit the lava, but you'll still die. I'm thinking the hitzones are way too broad. Besides, what's the use of "lives: 100%" if you instantly die when you hit something bad? The out-of-control jumping leads to really frustrating play, there's very little margin for error. I hope you'll refine the engine more if you update it.
neat trick.
But it all came from an online tutorial, right? You'll have to throw in more of your own ideas and creativity if you want something to stay.
No, i only got the moving ball script from a tutorial, not the second and the third ball.
And also not the moving ball.
Dont acuse me for this kind of things wen you dont know where you are talking about.
Very good.
Great animations, very satisfactory. I can already see people sharing this at the office. I really hoped the cup was going to have him throw hot coffee in the boss's face, though.
Looks promising, but still...
The weapon upgrades make this look like it could be hours of collective fun, but other things defeat that. One: the slowdown. I have a fairly powerful pc (2.17 GHz, 512Mb RAM), but still the scrolling background (at low quality) starts to lag a little and the character gets a little jerky now and then. Maybe the background just have too much detail. The gameplay just isn't much fun. The characters should maybe be smaller, so Homestar isn't off screen most of the time while you're chasing him. Other than that, it's just: hold down arrow key. Shoot. Hold down arrow key. Reload. Shoot.
And frankly, while I tried not to make it influence the score, I think the way Homestar looks among the 'dark' backgrounds and with this character chasing him is rather silly. Like the game originally had a different target. I honestly can't see why you'd hate Homestarrunner enough to actually make a killing game about him, but I assume you've just spent too much time with avid HR fans.
